After staying in Moalboal for over two years, I’ve made a list of the top restaurants that you must try.

★ NO. 1 Betsy's Grill
I had a Hawaiian burger with ribs which was amazing! The beef tasted fresh, well seasoned and the taste blended well with the other ingredients. The bun was soft on the inside, but crispy on the surface. The portion is huge and served with well-cooked bacon. Don’t be fooled by the looks of the place! Tbh it looks like a generic restobar, but it’s actually the best Moalboal has to offer.
★ NO. 2 Daily Sweet Cafe & Snow Ice Shop
It's always perfect to have an ice cream on your beach vacation.
And I have to tell you, you must to try the snow ice dessert in this cafe. This may be your first time to try "snow ice", but it's kind of like shaved ice dessert, but better!
I can tell you, the taste is just like really snow, but smoother! All kinds of ice cream are made by fresh fruit, and the most special part is: no cream inside. So you can eat healthily even when you want an ice cold creamy dessert.
I'm not sure when I had my first iced lemon coffee, but I remember thinking it was genius!
The citrus flavors make it even more refreshing and summery. Come and try this fabulous flavor, I can say it's the best coffee alternative option to be found here.
They also serve some light meals like… chicken kimchi on a pizza! Nani?! It works, folks, trust me.
The components of the pizza are all made by the owner: the zest of kimchi, hand seasoned chicken, and even the pizza thin crust itself which serves as a vehicle for its mouth watering toppings.
BTW, They also have hookah and cocktails at night. What a cozy place!
★ NO. 3 Smooth cafe
Want some high quality coffee and food? Smooth cafe is the right place.
Stable quality of coffee latte, amazing handmade cake, and my favorite: chicken shawarma. Well seasoned and served with the handmade kimchi.
Live band everynight, wild a sprite.
★ NO. 4 Ven'z
Wanna try some good quality local food? Ven's kitchen will be your best choice.
Try the "pork sisig" which mix a raw egg in the middle, this is definitely the best version i have ever had.
When you travel to Philippines, mango float is also the "must to try" local dessert.
Ven's have the most perfect mango float, the perfect proportion between mango, cream, and the local cookie crunch. Make sure order one when you visit next time.
★ NO. 5 Okeanos Cafe
When I craving some pasta, Okeanos is definitely the best place.
Tried their pesto pasto and lasagna, that is really really amazing.
Even the bread on the side, it's crunch and full of butter smell. You will have a wonder experience here!
★ NO. 6 Shaka
If you want some healthy breakfast, try shaka! Wonderful granola and fresh fruit. Open kitchen so you can see how they do it.
Beautiful cozy place and just 30 steps walk to beach.
★ NO. 7 Barbecue vendor
I always afraid to try the local food vender in Philippines, I have to say, too many bad memories before.
But this one, right in front of blue mango, is totally safe and worthy to try it.
The price is really cheap, and it's relatively clean than the others.
Ohh, remember to say "less sauce" to them, that's the secret of delicious.
★ NO. 8 JG's Grill
The far far away local restaurant, but it's also worth to try it!
My favorite is the fired rice, not special, but I can say it's really classic!
The famous local cuisine "lechon" is also available here. The crispy fried pork skin make it sold out usually!
★ NO. 9 kugita
When you miss some high quality food, Kugita is the perfect right place you should go.
Local Japanese restaurant combined with local seafood. Let me tell you, the Kugita sushi roll will blow your mind.
Fried shrimp sushi served with crunch, crispy side make me almost in the pardise.
You also can find pasta, classic hot soup. The quality is stable and trustable.
★ NO. 10 Marina
Although after the terrible, strong typhoon, the outside of Marina is almost destoried.
But the food is still delicious. Tried their seafood pasta, I almost taste the flavor of ocean in it!
But the quality is not really stable, sometimes it's not good as normal taste.
That's my personal top 10 cafe & restaurant list.
